About
How This Site Works
A siding guide with a way to ask for an estimate. We don't install siding.
Where your request goes
Quote requests from this website are passed to a local siding contractor that works in Anniston and Oxford and is affiliated with the people who run this site. We are not a contractor ourselves.
That contractor, not this site, measures the house, writes the estimate and signs any contract with you.
What you'll find here
- Guides written to help whether or not you ask for a quote. Each figure and rule links to where it came from.
- No customer endorsements, and no photos claiming to show anyone's work.
- National price ranges, clearly labeled, rather than invented local prices.
Looking up a license
Alabama's licensing board for home builders runs an online search; if a builder isn't on it, the Board asks you to call 1-800-304-0853.1
